Mike McLean is a rugby league footballer of the mid '80s and early '90s for Easts, Newcastle and the Gold Coast of the National Rugby League. He started his first grade career for the Easts Tigers in the BRL in 1983 before playing for the Roosters for a number of years. Throughout his career he gained selection for the Queensland Origin team. Post football Mike went on to run a highly successful liquor wholesaling business. Mike McLean also ran second in the Dally M medal to Gavin Miller in 1988.
